Chiropractic care involves the application of hands-on pressure onto specific areas of the body by a qualified practising chiropractor. This is called a chiropractic adjustment.
It may also include:
- Special drop tables.
- An activator – a specifically designed instrument to deliver a brief and highly accurate force.
- Blocks strategically positioned to gently encourage joint repositioning.
Chiropractic adjustments vary depending on each patient – some may be quick whereas others may require a slow constant or indirect pressure. We also advise on posture, stretching, traction, and exercises you can do at home to supplement your care in clinic.
